So Divine Ooh la la Flower Vibrator

After the dismal performance of the So Divine Wicked Game Magic Wand vibrator you might be expecting a similarly scathing review of the So Divine Ooh la la Flower Vibrator. I’m happy to report the Ooh La La Flower vibrator fared fare better.

So Divine Ooh La La Flower vibratorBright pink wouldn’t have been my first choice colour but it’s vibrant without being garish so I do quite like it. At 7 inches long and 4 inches in diameter at its widest point it is the perfect size to be a combined clitoral and vaginal vibrator.

It appears to have the same motor as the Magic Wand but whereas the vibrations diminished to a crummy hum as they travelled through the large head of the wand, the smaller dimensions make the vibrations powerful enough to get me off. The rounded head of the So Divine Ooh La La Flower means there are none of the itchy pinpoint vibrations of the second end of the So Divine Wicked Game Magic wand but the ridges of the Flower head let me focus the vibrations exactly where I need them.

As with the So Divine wand, there are 10 functions (3 speeds and 7 vibration patterns). As is often the case, it has just one button so you have to click through all the patterns if you want to go back to a previous one. I know lots of people find this frustrating but it doesn’t bother me. In fact, fewer buttons is a good thing in my book because I am always forgetting what they do.

The ridges let me focus the vibrations

I find the first speed isn’t powerful enough and the third speed is too buzzy but, for my Goldilocks clitoris, the second speed is just right. I’m not a power queen at all so if you need a lot of oomph in your vibes, the So Divine Ooh La La Flower vibrator probably isn’t for you.

Many vibrators suffer from annoyingly buzzy vibrations on higher speed settings. At £25 I probably wouldn’t be complaining about the vibrations this much but when a vibrator crosses the £30 mark I expect more power before it reaches that point.

Despite the mediocre vibrations the So Divine Ooh La La Flower vibrator has a lot to offer. The body-safe silicone is soft and has very little drag so it glides easily with a little water-based lube. Although I don’t use toys in the bath, I value the fact it is 100% waterproof because it makes cleaning it easier. Being quite small and lightweight means it can not only be used alone but can be used during sex without getting in the way.

The So Divine Ooh La La Flower vibrator can also be used internally. The slim body doesn’t give me the full feeling I enjoy but the slight bulbous head and internal vibrations combined with another vibrator externally are pretty damn good.

Strong magnetic USB charger

My favourite thing about the So Divine Ooh La La Flower vibrator is the USB charger. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve gone to get a vibe that’s been on charge only discover it has disconnected itself because the magnet was too weak. The magnets on this vibrator are strong so it doesn’t stop charging if the surface moves ever so slightly or I knock the wire. The blinking power light also lets you know it is charging.
Positives: Smooth, velvety silicone, waterproof, light, rechargeable
Negatives: Weak, buzzy vibrations
Who should buy this: People who don’t need a huge amount of power. People who want a combined clitoral and internal vibrator.
Who shouldn’t buy this: Power queens and size queens.
